We would like to inform you that the policy regarding the import customs clearance process for overseas shipments to Korea has been updated, specifically regarding the Personal Customs Clearance Number (PCN).

The changes are as follows:

1. Previous Policy (Before the change)
Foreign nationals could clear customs using their passport number instead of the Personal Customs Clearance Number.

2. Updated Policy (After the change)
Starting from January 1, 2025, foreign nationals will only be able to clear customs using their Personal Customs Clearance Number.
Therefore, foreign nationals must enter their Personal Customs Clearance Number instead of their Alien Registration Number or Passport Number.

Smartship Application Date
Starting from Tuesday, December 24, 2024, when registering an order, foreign nationals will be required to enter their Personal Customs Clearance Number for the customs procedure.
To ensure smooth customs clearance, please register your Personal Customs Clearance Number.
